Ben Vickery is Senior Technical Advisor for the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). He is MEP’s Liaison for Advanced Manufacturing Partnerships and works with the Advanced Manufacturing National Program Office (AMNPO), a NIST-based interagency office that is charged with convening and enabling private-public partnerships focused on manufacturing innovation that engage U.S. industry, academia, and government. Mr. Vickery previously served as Sustainability Program Manager for MEP and developed a number of MEP’s Technology Acceleration initiatives, including Technology Scouting and Technology Driven Market Intelligence. Mr. Vickery also served as Senior Analyst with the NIST Manufacturing Futures Group, where he focused on challenges facing US smaller manufacturers in the global economy, and was Product Line Manager for Lean Enterprise at NIST MEP. Mr. Vickery received an M.S. in Public Policy and a B.S. in History, Technology & Society from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
