Chris is the General Product Manager for General Purpose and Severe Duty motors at Baldor Electric Company in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Chris has over 17 years of manufacturing experience, holds a B.S. degree in business and a MBA from Gardner Webb University. Chris has extensive experience in all areas of manufacturing that includes Director of Manufacturing for NEMA motors, Plant Manager at three locations including Baldor’s largest motor plant in Fort Smith, AR, Manufacturing Manager, and Materials Manager. Throughout his career with Baldor Chris has been focused on Key Lean Manufacturing initiatives and is Lean Certified. Those initiatives have resulted in key transformational changes in the motor manufacturing processes at Baldor. While Chris was Plant Manager at the Asheville, North Carolina facility, Industry Week Magazine awarded the facility as one of the best plants in North America 2009. The same award was given to the Marion, North Carolina plant in 2004 while Chris was the Manufacturing Manager. Both plants produce mechanical power transmission products.
